Race one: today:wednesday 11th registration at 6:15 :)

500m 1.2km x 2 this is an eliminator race: first10 male’s first 10-females (might be extended depending on numbers)

Don’t worry even if you are eliminated on the first night you will still get points towards the overall series, please stay around to support your fellow contestants. This doesn’t mean your eliminated from the series

so how does an eliminator work?

the first hallf of the race goes as any normal race does, we race!! but the top 10 ( or more depending on the numbers there we will set a qualifying mark) will do it again to fight for the win. the trick is to qualify and save your energy for the second leg. so for example you could finish in 10th place in the first wave and win the second leg and be crowned the winner. for all those that dont make the second round of the eliminator your finishing postion will stay the same so for example if you finish in 12 th place that will be your ranking for the second race,

there will be a rest period between the races( to let others finish and for the athletes to compose  themselves :)
